Veteran turned entrepreneur hopes to “make houses homes” during nation’s challenging times

Color World Housepainting, a painting and contracting company, has opened in the CSRA as an essential business to serve the two state area amid the pandemic.
Evette Hunter, a proud female minority veteran, is excited to invest in the CSRA and use her business to help people love their homes and feel good about where they live. After over 23 years in the US Army, Hunter became passionate about peoples’ homes and the memories that live in them.
Color World Housepainting provides homeowners with quality interior and exterior painting services, in addition to commercial painting, power washing, carpentry and drywall repair, staining, gutter installation, and holiday lighting. The brand has been classified as an essential business and is ready to safely service homes, even during the pandemic. Hunter says she was drawn to the franchise because she thought it would be a great way to help beautify and better the community.
“In the military I moved all over the world and now that I can call the CSRA my permanent home, I want to help others make their living space beautiful and comfortable,” said Hunter. “I understand how important it is to love your space, and I can’t wait to play a part as families in the community build or refresh their homes. We’re all spending a lot of time at home right now, and I want to help people create a positive environment there.”
